Word from the President

It's the dawn of a new season for the Sunrise Cricket Club, and 2003 is shaping up to be one of our best seasons ever! I'm proud of the hard work that the club has undertaken in this year's pre-season, to ensure
that our plans to build our club come to life this year. I'm also excited about the Sport of Cricket this year, and I think 2003 is theyear that Cricket in Canada will finally get noticed on a broader scale, based on the efforts of the Canadian World Cup Team, and also based on the success of the local clubs in communities like ours in Waterloo.

We have some of the best cricket talent in Canada on our team, and we are working hard to develop the shining stars of tomorrow, and as a team we should be proud of what we are doing on the field, but also for what we are doing for the sport of Cricket in Canada. I want to remind all club members that it is our duty and obligation to the team, and indeed to the sport, to act accordingly and professionally both on and off the
field ALWAYS. By setting the example for our fellow teams within the league, we have the opportunity to really change the face of Cricket in Canada. I challenge all club members to use their positive influence towards this goal.

To our players, PLAY HARD and FAIR. To our directors, thanks in advance to you for your help in advancing our cause, and for the on-going support of the team.
